Cuirfear  an múinteoir ranga ar an eolas má tá athrú ar bith á dhéanamh agat maidir le bailiú do pháiste ag deireadh an lae nó i rith an lae.

Naíonáin Bheaga – Ar feadh coicíse ag tús na scoilbliana nua críochnaíonn na Naíonáin Shóisearacha ag 12.00i.n. Támid den tuairim go gcuireann an lá giorraithe seo na páistí ar a suaimhneas agus iad ag tosnú amach ar scoil. I ndiaidh na tréimhse seo críochnaíonn na Naíonáin ag 1:50i.n.

SCHOOL HOURS

9:00am – School Opens (children fully supervised until classes begin)
9.10am – Classes commence
11.00am – 11-10am Break
1.00pm – 1.20pm – Lunch
1.50pm – End of school day for Infants
2.50pm – End of school day for Senior classes

It is of vital importance that each child is collected from school by a parent or guardian at the appropriate time.

Always inform the class teacher if there is a change in arrangements regarding the collection of your child at end of or during the school day.

For the first two weeks of the new school year, Junior Infants will start school at 9.10 a.m. and finish at 12.00p.m.  This shorter time will enable infants to settle in school with ease. Following this period school will finish at 1:50p.m. for Junior Infants.

Bunaíodh ár scoil sa bhliain 1995, ag tosnú amach le dhá seomra ranga. Táimid ag fás agus ag forbairt  ó shin i leith. Táimid an bhródúil as na háiseanna atá againn faoi láthair, ina measc;

The Gaelscoil was founded in 1995 with two classrooms, we have been growing and developing since and we are very proud of the state of the art facilities in our new building (2012);

ENROLMENT

An Information/ Enrolment Evening for prospective pupils early in the year gives an opportunity for new parents to view the school, school work and to meet with the Principal and Vice Principal. A Registration Form will be available at the Information/ Enrolment Evening or at any time from the Principal or from the School Secretary.    

CÓD IOMPAIR SCOILE

Cuireadh na riachtanais agus na cúinsí ar leith a bhaineann leis an scoil seo san áireamh agus an cód seo á dhréachtadh. Is é an aidhm  atá leis an gCód Iompar seo ná féiniúlacht an linbh aonair  a aithint ach ag an am céanna ag dearbhú go bhfuil gach dalta i dteideal teagaisc gan éinne  ná haon ní a bheith ag cur isteach air nó uirthi. Is baill don scoile sinne ar fad (daltaí, tuismitheoirí agus foireann na Gaelscoile), feidhmeoidh na Rialacha Scoile chun sábháilteacht, sláinte , fás agus forbairt na mball uilig a chinntiú. 

CODE OF BEHAVIOUR

In devising our Code of Behaviour, consideration has been given to the circumstances and needs specific to our school. The aim of the Code of Behaviour is to recognize the individuality of each child while ensuring at the same time the right of all pupils to education in an environment free from unnecessary disruption. We are all members of the school community and the Code of Behaviour is designed to protect the safety, well-being and growth of all members, in this case the pupils, parents and staff of the Gaelscoil.
It is imperative that every parent signs and accepts the Code of Behaviour and plays his/her part in its implementation. Copies of An Cód Iompar are available from the school.

SCOIL CHOTHAITHE SLÁINTE

Mar scoil chothaithe sláinte deintear iarracht béim ar leith a cur ar an sláinte i ngach ghné de saol na scoile agus roghanna sláintiúla  a  dhéanamh maidir leis an gcuraclam nuair is féidir é. Ar an dóigh seo tá súil againn go spreagfar páistí, tuistí agus foireann na scoile chun slithe beatha sláintiúla a inúchadh, a chruthú agus a fhorbairt dóibh féin.Mar chuid den fheachtas seo moltar ach go háirithe do thuismitheoirí lón folláin a ullumhú dá bpáistí agus dá bharr sin cuirtear cosc iomlán ar na rudaí seo a leanas a thabairt mar chuid de lón aon pháiste; Seacláid, milseáin, guma coganta, criospaí , deochanna shúilíneacha.

HEALTH PROMOTING SCHOOL

A Health Promoting School is about giving the school a special focus on health by encouraging teachers students and parents to look at how healthy lifestyles and environments can be built upon within the school. As a Health Promoting School attention is given to opportunities for promoting health within the curriculum.
Healthy lunches are also promoted – the following items are not allowed fizzy drinks, crisps, chocolate bars, sweets and chewing gum.
